You do not see sufficient perspectives in the production of standard pipes?
Dreistern roll forming systems for the pipe industry produce very special pipes.

In the past pipes were mostly intended for the transport of media such as a water or gas, for supporting frames, or they were further processed into bicycle frames, for instance. They were considered stable and durable, but also heavy and susceptible to corrosion. Today pipes are still used for water pipes and gas pipes, or as bicycle frames. However, today they are no longer susceptible to corrosion even under aggressive ambient conditions. They are often 30% lighter than normal steel pipes. As automotive components they contribute to reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Often they take over a whole series of functions.

The manufacture of such multifunctional pipes requires significantly more process steps than would be
necessary for the production of the actual pipe. Their cross-section no longer needs to be round, they can take on practically any form. The boundaries between pipe and profile are therefore increasingly disappearing, just like the boundaries for the usage of pipes. 

In the past Dreistern has developed a series of trend-setting solutions for pipe manufacture. New processes for the pipe industry are constantly developed and tested in Dreistern roll forming machine and process development. Due to the large variety, the application examples given represent but a small selection.
