Last week, the IfF and the PtU welcomed more than 150 participants to the 12th "WAPRO" roll forming conference in Darmstadt. The two-day event on March 22 and 23, 2023 was a complete success thanks to the great response from the entire roll forming industry. The opening evening event in our Smart FormING Center generated many interesting conversations about the processes being demonstrated live and gave rise to lively discussions about upcoming trends and future joint projects.

On the second day, the conference focused on specialist lectures from science and industry in the newly opened event area of the Merck Stadium at the Böllenfalltor. The entire value chain of roll forming technology was examined from different perspectives, with the core topics of sustainability and digitization offering many points of contact for exchange among all participants.
